Bio

Agnieszka Skorupa specialises in performing early music on historical instruments. She is a lecturer at the University of Arts in Berlin and the Academy of Music in Poznań. She has also collaborated with the Academy of Music in Katowice and the Academy of Art in Szczecin as an accompanist. Vice-president of the „Muzyka otwarta” Foundation.

She is the recipient of numerous awards at international music competitions and festivals. In 2023, she and her early music ensembles won first prize at the International Händel Competition in Göttingen, the Biagio Marini Competition in Neuburg upon Danube, and the Competition for Early Music Ensembles at the UdK in Berlin.

For her artistic activity she has been awarded the Prize of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (Poland) and twice the scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education (Poland) and the scholarship of the Paul-Hindemith-Gesellschaft in Berlin. Currently, she is a fellow at the Pianomuseum Haus Eller, where she has received a clavichord for the artistic season 2023/2024.

She studied at the University of the Arts in Berlin (Avinoam Shalev, Lucas Blondeel), as well as at the Music Academies in Poznań (Alicja Kledzik) and Katowice (Katarzyna Drogosz).
